Streaming Responses: Real-Time Interaction and Enhanced User Experience
Teneo 7.6 brings a major advancement with the introduction of Streaming Responses, a feature that transforms how conversational agents communicate with users. This framework allows the bot to send real-time messages during task execution, keeping users informed of progress and ensuring smoother interaction, particularly in scenarios where latency is crucial.
Whether in voice applications where visual cues are absent or when retrieving complex data from systems like Large Language Models (LLMs) like OpenAI GPT-4o mini, Google Gemini, Meta LLaMa and Anthropic Claude or extensive backend queries, Streaming Responses ensure users are never left in the dark. This feature not only starts delivering LLM-generated answers before they are fully complete but also enables developers to create sophisticated output layouts—like interspersing text and images seamlessly—directly within the solution.
In addition, streaming can be used to keep users in progress while long tasks are being processed. Examples can include, updates while we’re booking a flight, or while a payment is being processed.

We are thrilled to announce the Teneo Web Widget (TWW), a brand-new channel designed to seamlessly integrate Teneo-powered conversational agents into your web platforms. Built on a modern React interface, TWW replaces the previously used Teneo Web Chat, providing a richer, more interactive UI out-of-the-box.
TWW is equipped to handle a wide range of use cases, offering detailed and interactive documentation via Storybook, which allows developers to experiment with message formats outside of the solution. This capability accelerates iteration cycles and enhances the reliability of the final output, ensuring a smoother development process and higher quality results.
Key features of the Teneo Web Widget include:
- Streaming Support: Fully compatible with the new Teneo’s Streaming Responses, allowing for dynamic, multi-part interactions (text, images, tables) in real-time.
- Ease of Integration: Teneo Web Widget supports the same output parameter format as Teneo Web Chat, ensuring compatibility with existing solutions while offering a modern alternative for new developments.
