ASR / TTS Integrations
Teneo Web Chat 3.7.12 now supports advanced integrations for Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) via ASR / TTS events. This enhancement enables a more seamless conversational experience, making interactions more fluid and natural. More information on ASR and TTS can be found here in the documentation.
MS Cognitive Speech Support
Teneo Web Chat 3.7.12 now supports Microsoft Cognitive Speech. In cases where MS Cognitive Speech is not configured, the system will gracefully fall back to using web speech, ensuring continuous and reliable voice interaction capabilities.
Enhanced TTS Parameters
Additional parameters such as title and description will now be read by the TTS, providing more context and detail during voice interactions. This feature enhances the richness of the conversational experience by delivering more comprehensive information through speech.
ASR Start / End Sounds
The start and end sounds for ASR have been re-added in this version. These audible cues signal to users when the ASR is actively listening and when it has stopped, creating a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.
Improved Validation
This release includes validation against a normalized JSON message schema. It ensures that all messages adhere to a consistent format, improving reliability and making it easier to troubleshoot issues.
Support for Normalized and Legacy Table Message Formats
Teneo Web Chat 3.7.12 now supports both normalized and legacy table message formats. This dual support ensures compatibility with a wide range of existing implementations, providing greater flexibility and ease of integration.
